into the market for packaging edible oils, soft drinks, water &

that they do a poor job in keeping oxygen from permeating the
container and reacting with the fill, which in turn can affect the
fragrance, flavor & color of the drink.
- Aluminum containers : One of the most popular
liquid packaging method. Usually in the form of cans, they are used
to store beer, aerated drinks etc.
- Paperboard containers : They are widely
recommended and have replaced glass bottles specially in flavored
milk, fruit juices & drinks. Flexible packaging has nowadays
taken over the fresh milk segment. Tetra packaging is very popular.
- Flexible pouches : Today with innovation taking
place from time to time , glass, paper containers and PET bottles
have been replaced by flexible pouches in most of the applications.
Superior graphics on the packets enhance product visibility and
image. Most packs have easy opening and sealing options with zips.
Moreover, such packaging has lesser breakages in transit. Stand up
pouches have replaced the typical bag-in-box application. They are
becoming an established package type because they can be easily
placed on shelf in a vertical position so that they are visible to
