Label
tapes are pressure sensitive adhesive backed embossing tapes for use
with label machines. These tapes consist of few layers of materials,
resulting in thin, yet extremely strong labels.
The built-in cutter mechanism allows the labels to be cut to size. The
printer then automatically ejects the labels. The lamination layer
protects the ink from the sort of hazards that abound in industrial
environments. Labeling tapes are tested with weighted sand eraser
device. Tapes with black characters lose their electric resistance at a
high voltage. Tapes with metallic backgrounds or characters contain
aluminum and tapes with black characters contain carbon. The former
therefore has lower dielectric strength than the standard color styles.
The tapes retain their integrity even at high temperatures.
A broad range of fabric label tapes is available from economical coated
tapes to luxurious satin weave woven edge polyester. Inks come in a wide
assortment of colors. Available in full line of colors and sizes. A nice
feature of labeling tape is- the backing of all tapes is split down the
middle for easy removal. All tapes whether of paper, plastic or metal,
are durable. Label tape resist moisture and most solvents and can
withstand autoclaving.
They are used for food labeling, cooler applications, dry storage
sealing and box closure.
