Hologram
labels are constructed of durable polyester films. They are die- cut to
size for easy removal, and provided on rolls with peel and stick
adhesive backing. The adhesive is a permanent acrylic, which is
compatible with most papers, plastics, and other non-porous surfaces.
The adhesive is sun fast for at least one year and does not yellow if
used in an exterior application.
They are available with a tamper evident feature. Tamper evident labels
have printed silicon release under the hologram image. If an attempt is
made to remove the label from the product or document, or to reposition
it, the image self-destructs. This is an additional security feature.
They cannot be scanned or photocopied and is a proven to combat document
counterfeiting. They also create a unique and attractive complement to
the existing packaging and product.
Background colors and imprints inks are colorfast for exposure to
sunlight for at least one year. Stock labels are designed for manual
applications. To apply labels the minimum application temperature should
be +35F and application surface should be clean and dry.
Types
- Polyester Labels uses a selective release,
which leaves a pattern of dots.
- Transparent Hologram Labels are compatible with
lamination pouches to make ID cards. They can be affixed to the ID
insert before laminating or affixed to the finished laminated card.
Some underlying information can be seen through the transparent
label, it is also an affordable method of re-validating an existing
ID card. Instead of printing new ID card each year, simply peel and
stick the transparent label onto an existing ID card.
