What are BOPP Films Usage?

BOPP films usage are many and this popular packaging film is not limited to packaging only. However, before knowing the different BOPP usage, it seems apt to know first what are BOPP films and why they have become so popular in the packaging industry?

What are BOPP Films?

Biaxially-Oriented Polypropylene (BOPP) films are a type of packaging film, rather the most popular type of packaging film. BOPP films are so popular because of their certain characteristics that include better shrinkage, stiffness, transparency, sealability, twist retention and barrier. BOPP films have excellent clarity, high tensile strength, good dimensional stability and flatness, low electrostatic charge, along with being waterproof. All these features of BOPP films make it the widely used packaging film for such applications as flexible packaging, pressure sensitive tape, printing and lamination, stationary, metalized packaging, flower sleeves, cable wrap and insulation among others.

BOPP Bags

BOPP bags made from Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene (BOPP) films have high tensile strength and physical properties like good dimensional stability, water proofing, transparency etc. BOPP bags manufacturers make these bags available at highly competitive prices with customization done as per the requirement of the clients.
