Biodegradable Bags
Talk about conventional plastic then it will take many years and even decades to degrade or decompose. Plastic litter and landfill waste do nothing good to the environment but is a total disaster as it chocks the sewerage, water pipes and emits very poisonous fumes on burning. Even anything that is placed inside the ordinary plastic bag wont decompose fully adding to more pollution. So say no to plastic bags if you can.

Now there is an option to this in the form of biodegradable bags, biodegradable packaging and biodegradable food packaging with metallized films. These are as easy and convenient to use as plastic bags and at the same time cause no harm to the environment. These also decompose easily over a period of time. The process of decomposition means breaking of large molecules into smaller ones by microorganisms. Biodegradable bags are so made that with time chemical changes in respect to structure occur in them. Microorganism then convert it into biomass, carbon dioxide and water.

Biodegradable food packaging With metallized films is the new concept. To make this biodegradable packaging by using metallized films, generally non G.M.O wood pulp is used with metallized cellulose films that are compostable and biodegradable. These cellulose films are made from the natural polymer, cellulose. Cellulose is the component of plant and trees.

Biodegradable BioBags

BioBags is the biggest name in the manufacturing of biodegradable plastic bags across the world. The material used by them to make these bags and packaging films is taken from the non genetically modified organism (GMO). Also the ink that is used on the bags is made from soy. These bags changes into compost within the period of 10-45 days. The period vary with the compost conditions.

Not even for the food and grocery bags but you can also get the one for outdoor use. You can have large leaf bags for your garden in the form of biodegradable bags from Biobags. Also if you have a pet at home then purchase the biodegradable packaging to pick and throw the waste.
